Got a tip from our new tweeting buddy, @LasseHarkanen, that Coca-Cola (yes, that Coke.) and the Honua Kai Cafe Resort & Spa in Ka'anapali, Maui (Hawaii) have been running sweepstakes!
For those who do not know, Coke has their own reward program called My Coke Reward. You drink Coke, go to the website, http://www.mycokerewards.com, sign up, enter the number on the bottle cap. (no purchase necessary) As you gain points, you have a choice of using your points to exchange with "goods" or to enter yourself in one of those sweepstakes like a vacation to the beautiful island of Maui!
The lucky winner of sweepstakes will receive 2 round trip tickets to Maui by Delta Airline AND 6 night stay in their villa at Honua Kai Cafe Resort & Spa.
Now, we did a bit of researches on this resort, Honua Kai Cafe, as we never had an opportunity to check it out until our reader's tip. According to the press release, the Honua Kai Cafe in Maui has just opened in January, 2009, in the Northern part of Maui. The published rate for this year runs anywhere from $400/night. The resort will be expanding more in the year of 2010. Amenities that were listed in the press release left us in day-dreaming as the resort is located right on the beach (1 1/2miles of beach path, according to the PR), incredible pool with cabanas, their spa service etc., not to mention that Maui's celebrity chef, James McDonald, is running the gourmet cafe on the premises.
